Sounds of the Seasons - By Katherine J. Miller
Spring in the lush of a mountain,
Dawns graceful light plays a piano.
Strengthening the bodys might.
Primavera en la exuberante de una montaña,
La luz elegante del alba toca un piano.
Refuerzo de la fuerza del cuerpo.
Yet in the mists of waterfalls there,
The resonance of a cello serenades.
Trickling a harmonious calm to the mind.
Aún en las nieblas de cascadas allí,
La resonancia de unas serenatas de violoncelo.
Goteando una calma armoniosa a la mente.
A summer sun scorches overhead,
A joyous trumpet brightens the afternoon sky
Why is it that when ever you are gone,
I feel a painful longing in my chest?
I always think of you as I watch the misty dawn,
And every night I dream of you in my sleepful rest.
Your handsome face has been imprinted on my mind,
The feel of your hand against mine is always there.
Some how you are always there when I'm in some sort of bind,
Helping me lift my burdens when they're too heavy to bear.
Even when I bare both sharp claws and fangs,
Harshly telling you to leave me alone.
Your hands cup my face and slowly brush away my bangs,
As you embrace me and calm me with your deep, soft tone.
So maybe, just maybe,
You are the one for
I see you walk down the one way road,
It's the only life you've ever known,
But know that you're not walking it alone.
As you open your wings to soar and fly,
I know you'll watch over me in the sky.
Even though you are now weak and feeble,
You'll always be my strong, stubborn eagle.
And to know that in my final dark night,
I'll see you standing in the shining light.
To once again see your smiling face,
Leaves in my heart such hope and grace.
When you want to see our love,
Just look past the confining steel bars.
Look up towards the sky above,
And up to the brightly shining stars.
For everytime I look at the dark sky,
I hear you whisper that last soft "Good Bye."
Even though I know deep in my heart,
That we can never be kept apart.
My heart still yearns,
And my soul forever burns.
To feel once again the warmth of your embrace,
To forever look upon your hard but loving face.
I wish to stand by your side,
And once again make one heart and mind.
Even though you were taken away,
I'll think of you each moment and day.
For the distance may seem very far,
But I'll alw
What is a father?
Is he someone to bother?
Or is he more like a mentor,
That is sometimes my tormentor.
But that cannot be with his face so kind,
And his calm yet intellectual mind.
With his character laid-back,
He tends to hide the fact,
That his mind is the sharpest tack.
He shows me that he cares,
With the love that he shares.
He hugs me when I'm sad,
And scolds me when I'm bad.
He teaches me what is good sense,
And not to stand on the fence.
He calms me when I'm mad,
And laughs with me when I'm glad.
He teaches me to be humble,
When I slip and fumble.
And when I can no longer stand,
He keeps me steady with his strong
Our bond is like the dawn.
But how can it be,
That you're with me?
You're more than just apart,
Of my new beating heart.
When you're around,
I feel found.
The tenderness of your face,
Your strong yet gentle embrace.
My heart stops,
And flip-flops.
When you promise to stay,
With me every day.
Yet just your scent,
Makes me content.
What did I do,
To deserve you?
You can always tell,
When I feel unwell.
I feel so free,
When you're with me.
Just one tender kiss,
Leaves me in pure bliss.
From the warmth of your lips,
To your hands on my hips.
The way you make me feel,
Is a dream that's unreal.
My shirt has been left in torns,
Fresh blood running down my side.
All because of war's violent thorns,
Blood and scars are war's reminding tide.
Although my torn flesh burns,
My soul forever yearns.
To hope a young heart learns,
War is no one's valuable earns.
So never go on hell's ride,
But fight true to never hide.
When hate had the world in total destruction.
There were no good tidings,
And no forever findings.
Kept in my wings,
My voice never sings.
Your eyes were down,
Your face a frown.
Then there came a day,
When we had found a way.
So no longer were my wings kept down,
And your face no longer sported an ugly frown.
As the bright sun is now shining,
Our new found love is forever binding.
Now love has the world under construction.
My shirt has been left in torns,
Fresh blood running down my side.
All because of war's violent thorns,
Blood and scars are war's reminding tide.

KSA: Kovara P14 - Birth Of Triplets
Kopa and Kovu set out for Jamal and Afua's den shortly after sunrise the next morning. When they arrived, Afua was dragging an antelope to the den. He dropped it to greet them when he caught sight of them. “Morning, Kopa. Welcome back, Kovu. Did you have a nice time on your honeymoon?” Kovu nodded. “We did. Thank you, Afua.” “Are you looking for Jamal?” "Yes, I need to talk to him and Kovu about setting up a permanent patrol rotation. Plus something else,” Kopa said. “I’ll see if I can get him up." Afua sighed before disappearing back into the den. It wasn’t long before they heard grumbling as Jamal emerged, followed by Afua. "Good morning to you, too," Kopa said dryly. “Afua said you wanted to talk about a patrol rotation?” Jamal grunted. “That’s right.” Kopa nodded and added, "Plus, a favor my parents requested." “Well, why don’t you two join us for breakfast before you go talk?" Afua offered, gesturing toward his catch. The four lions settled down to eat, catching up with

BEWARE! So I think there is a scammer trying to get permission to use other's art/profile pics so beware of this "artist" named rwilliamjade. They claim that they would like permission to use your stuff as inspiration for their work for a client. But if you make any inquiry as to what they want to use and what for, they immediately take that to mean you are agreeing to them.
I don't really write in journals for the reason that no journal or diary is ever not going to be read and my thoughts, if given to evil forces, can be used to hurt others or take over the world. So I'll probably just write useless rabblings or updates in this. So don't expect too many confessions from the heart of Kat because it won't happen.
